National Mississippi River Museum The National Mississippi River Museum is open from 9am - 6pm on weekends. From Labor Day thru October 31st the museum is open from 9am thru 5pm and November 1st thru Memorial Day weekends open from 10am thru 5pm. Admission cost for children 3-6 is $4.50, youth is $8, 65+ are $9.50 and adults are $10.50. The newest feature at the National Mississippi River Museum is an exhibit called Lizards on the Loose.
